End of Week: Free Will Commission Update

It's the end of another week, and I have more progress on the 'Free Will' commission to show for it. 

Four of the five figures in the under-painting are now finished, and it's been fun watching the lighting finally start to make some sense with the completion of the orrery (model solar system) light bulb and the boy with the rocket in the foreground who is the most dramatically lit by it. Having more of the blank panel showing in between the painted areas helps a lot as well.

Next week I'll shoot for completing under-painting work on the girl with the magnifying glass, her subject of inspection, and the jade plant. Then it's on to the group of figures on the left side of the painting, probably starting with the boy mockingly pointing to the right and then moving left until they're all complete. I'm going to save the girl at the moment of decision until last.
