The Underpainting Begins

Just a quick update on the new commission painting, which, as least as a working title (can't keep calling it the new commination painting indefinitely), I'll be referring to as the 'Free Will Commission'.

I put in a good first day of work on the monochrome underpainting, starting with the sky on the right hand side where there are blue skies with some light clouds. Things always take longer than I think they will when painting on this scale, but I feel like this was good progress.
